Lead Stack: Automated B2B Lead Generation & Real-Time Distribution

The Challenge

Most lead generation tools are either overly manual or rely on generic, non-exclusive data. To compete, I had to build a system that offered total exclusivity and instant delivery. Key technical hurdles included:

• Geographic Precision at Scale: Developing a high-performance routing engine that matches inbound lead postcodes against hundreds of unique buyer coverage areas in milliseconds.

• Preventing Lead Decay: In the scrap car industry, lead value drops every minute. I needed to ensure distribution via SMS, email, and Webhooks happened instantly, 24/7.

• Credit-Based Financial Logic: Building a robust, automated billing system that manages top-ups, handles auto-renewals when credits run low, and processes refunds for invalid data.

• Data Integrity & Deduplication: Implementing logic to track vehicle VIN numbers and contact details across various sources to ensure no agent is ever charged twice for the same lead.

The Solution

I developed a deep-level integration within the WordPress ecosystem, using a custom-coded plugin that serves as the platform's "brain" and operational engine.

Smart Distribution Engine The system uses a custom routing algorithm to handle lead ingestion from search engines, social media, and API feeds. It performs an instant lookup against the database of active buyers, ensuring each lead is assigned to exactly one agent based on their specific postcode preferences.

Automated Subscription & Credit Management I engineered a self-service portal where agents manage their own growth. This includes a tiered credit system (e.g., 25, 50, or 100 leads) integrated with automated payment gateways. The system proactively monitors balances, alerting users or auto-charging when they reach a five-credit threshold to prevent service interruption.

Multi-Channel Notification Layer To ensure immediate follow-up, I integrated SMS and SMTP protocols. The moment a customer submits a vehicle's details, the system triggers an automated notification sequence, delivering a unique reference number and customer data directly to the agent’s phone.

Compliance & Verification Built with a "Secure by Design" philosophy, the platform automates data retention for three years to meet DVLA and police request standards. It also features a built-in validation layer to flag incorrect phone numbers and automatically reconcile agent balances for faulty data.
